Introduction

Welcome to JT Racing. By accessing or using our website and services at jt-racing.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

JT Racing is operated by Justin Sletcher and Tom Fowler as an informal association (trading as JT Racing). We are not a registered company or close corporation.

Eligibility

To use JT Racing you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • Hold a valid iRacing account in good standing
  • Provide accurate registration information
Account & Conduct

When you create an account on JT Racing, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

As a member you agree to:

  • Comply with the iRacing Terms of Service at all times
  • Treat fellow drivers, commentators, and community members with respect
  • Refrain from cheating, exploiting, or engaging in unsportsmanlike behaviour
  • Not impersonate other drivers or misrepresent your identity
  • Follow the Rules & Regulations of any league you participate in

Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or threats of any kind will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

Removal & Suspension

The founders of JT Racing (Justin Sletcher and Tom Fowler) reserve absolute discretion to remove, suspend, or ban any user from the platform and its leagues at any time, with or without prior notice, and for any reason — including but not limited to breaches of these terms, unsportsmanlike conduct, or behaviour that is detrimental to the community.

Decisions regarding removal or suspension are final and are not subject to appeal.

Intellectual Property

All original content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and page designs — is the property of JT Racing or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

JT Racing is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of race results, standings, statistics, or any other data displayed on the site.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Justin Sletcher, Tom Fowler, and any contributors to JT Racing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service — including loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service — regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to JT Racing (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Third-Party Services

JT Racing integrates with third-party services including iRacing, Discord, and email delivery providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Modifications

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practical, notify members via Discord or email. Your continued use of JT Racing after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
